Default Help! My car is at the dealer and they are saying I need $10k in repairs

Hello everyone, I've been on here before looking for recommendations but have never posted anything.

I am in quite a dilemma. My car is at a new dealer (another dealer chain bought my dealer's franchise) and they keep adding on the bills. My poor A3 has been there for 4 days now and every time that I call, there is a new issue. Does Audi have a phone number to call to help? I feel like this is some kind of scam to buy a new car from the dealership.

Well, what repairs are they saying you need? It does sound like a high bill, but its possible for small stuff to add up quick (ie. 4 new tires + installation can be around $800, add a few leaking gaskets, maintenance like a timing belt, and you can expect to drop a few grand right there).

What did you originally bring the car in for?

Find a good local independent service station. The Audi dealers know how to charge top dollar, and they often do work that is unnecessary.
