NEED HELP!!! Please transmission problems

I have an 2001 audi a4 1.8t and the transmission has been givin me problems I don't know if it just needs fluids but when I go to accelerate the rpms go up but the speed goes up slowly... Please someone help

The trans is sealed and not easy to check. Find an independent VW/Audi shop

or a trans specialist in you area.
