I don't like the sound of it personally I bought something like it once it worked to a point but was very hard to apply ( it was called clear wax like liquid glass or something to that effect ) and was of the shelf not for sale within a month because of complaints

alright this is what i did, i cleaned my car first then i applied the first two steps of meguiars 3 step process, to get off the old wax and clean it up. then instead of the last step which is wax i applied the liquid glass. And i have to say it looks awesome. this is only one coat too and apparently the more coats you apply the better it looks. ill apply another coat tomoro and let you know how it looks, also i have a black car.

I used liquid glass a while back. Not on my Audi, but on my Ford Ranger, when it was brand new. It does put a pretty nice sheild on it but I am unfamiliar with how waxes work so I have nothing to compare it to. I applied a single coat about once every weekend for about 2 years (I was fanatic) and the paint looked perfect for those two years, then I got busy and stopped and it turned to crap. I believe the philosophy you get what you pay for and I wouldn't trust it on my car now. Get a proven product, its worth the money.

Ive use Liquid Glass for years now on numerous cars...not just my 03 A6.
It is my Wax of choice, it is used on my 1959 ford skyliner ( the original Hard Top Convertable) (best of show winner)The paint always looks fresh and WET! It is good stuff.
