always start from one side and work your way around. When yalls Recepcition cuts out is it when you step on the brake only or all the time. Cuz mine it mostly when i step on the brake but when i drive I can pick upmost stations clear.

I just bought a 2003 A4 and the radio reception is very poor. The stations I would normally get barely come in and some not at all. Do i need a new antenna and how much does it cost considering it is etched in the rear window I believe?

The attenna isnt in the window. ITs ontop of the window in a small panel.

I was told by a garage today that it isnt the antenna causing the reception problem because my radio still played cds. He said I need a new radio? That doesnt make any sense at all haha. How much is it to replace the antenna amplifier?

Walk away from that shop and never look back.

This is the same shop who just fixed my car, I think the mechanic thought I was talking about the radio amp not the antenna amp. I think that would make more sense
