I decided this weekend to remove the OEM stereo in favor of a new Pioneer Double Din Stereo with BT. When i was installing the stereo i accidentally crossed two wires and shorted out the climate control, stereo, power mirrors, and oil sensor. I checked all the fuses located next to the steering wheel and replaced the one for the stereo as it was blown. The AC, Mirrors, and oil sensor however are not working at all. The oil gauge stays put now at cool, i did unplug the battery and that removed the error and it worked again for about 5 minutes before i got the error again. The only fuse i found to be blown was the one for the stereo. that fixed the OEM stereo an that now works again. the climate control unit does have power going to it i know because when i turn on the lights they come on, the display and blower do not work. Is there any place else i can check to fix this issue quickly with out going to the dealership and spending hundreds?
