Default 2000 Audi s4 stereo transformatio

Hello all, This is my first post in awhile.

Right now, my 2000 s4 has a completely stock system. I have 1 12" sub in a box along with a amp to power it. What other hardware will I need to buy to play this though stock HU? Also is it possible to put in a different pair of speakers in the headunit and power it by another amp? I'm not really trying to replace the Headunit. I want to work with that and upgrade everythig else.

My car audi knowledge is rusty and short, so I appreciate the help.

Hi-Lo Converter

Amp install kit

Someone with some audi/vw knowledge since running wire in these cars is less than fun

And someone who knows where to find a switched accessory source for the turn on

How about for the speakers? What would be the best way to get some better sounding ones in there.. would i just need to connect them to an amp and wire them to the stock HU ?

What gauge wire should I get?

Also, If i wanted to replace the factory speakers, would I need another converter?

Yes they will work on a a4 quattro. As for wire i use four gauge for power and ground for my two type r's. Make sure the ground wire is as short as possible. And to get power to ur amp u can tap into the fuse box. That how mine is ill take a pic soon and post it up so u can see. I dont believe u will need a conveter to replace factory speakers but upgrading the headunit should be taken into consederation if u want to replace all ur speakers like that for a good quality sound.
