I have a 2004 Allroad that has a SAT option. When I push the button for SAT it brings up the phone number for XM and if I push Menu it shows the ESN number. Well, I signed up through Sirius and after speaking with several technicians still don't have Satellite active. I can hear the preview fine, but when a 'refresh' is sent there will be a momentary flash of 'failure' and then nothing. I"ve already done the key out, open door etc without success. The rep at Sirius told me the dealer has to reset the factory radio. I called my dealer (not where car was purchased) and spoke with a person in service, parts and sales and am waiting for a call back because no one had heard of such a thing. I've paid for the trial and desperately want this service, but after googling not sure what the answer is. Some mention channel 184; well when I push SAT the only option I get are 0 and 1 by using the tuner dial. Anyone know if there really is a way for the dealer to 'reset' my factory SAT radio? Any suggestions?
