hi, im new here , i have a 2005 audi a6 , and for the past year i been having problem with my driver side turn signal lights , when i start my car in the morning they work fine but after about 35-45 minutes they stop working and i get the message that the light is out , but when i turn the car off and start it they work again , any help would be appreciated , im in chicago .

Allen did you find the problem? I have the same exact issue.

 

not sure if it is the same issue, but my turn signals started to blink a couple times, then would just stop blinking. My local shop said this was common on my 04 A6, and they replaced the hazard switch (which apparently is tied into the turn signal blinkers), and it fixed the issue.
That switch is not cheap, by the way...

 

That switch contains the relay that controls the hazards and turn signals. It's the cause of almost all issues related to turn signals.
