Default 2008 A4 pre wired for satellite but slightly different setup-HELP!

My 2008 A4 is pre-wired for Satellite radio, there's a Satellite button on the radio and I have found the wires in the trunk that are meant to connect to the Satellite receiver, And I have found this GREAT step by step process to hook it up with pictures at http://www.audiworld.com/tech/elec115.shtml HOWEVER, in all of the other chatter about this topic on earlier models, there are 4 plugs encased in foam that will allow you to plug and play. I ONLY HAVE 3!

Two are 8-pin connectors (one straight, one stacked) and the other is the green plug. In everything else I've looked at, there should be a brownish reddish plug that looks just like the green one. Where is THAT plug??

I found an XM receiver from a 2006 A4 that would hook up perfectly but it needs that extra plug (I'm assuming). Is this some sort of trick from Audi to keep you paying $650 to have it installed at the factory? HELP HELP HELP!

Thanks!

I have a 2008 A4 Avant and want to hook up the Satelite receiver in the rear but now am concerned that all the cables might not be there. Let me know what you found out.

Thanks, Tim

From the info that I have come across, the 2008's have the newer revision Sat. Receivers that only require the green plug. The other one is for the terrestrial repeaters that are no longer necessary. This website lists the various receivers for the various years:

http://www.audiforum.us/part-numbers...t-numbers.html

The receiver for the 08's should be the following
8E0 035 593 L/8E0 057 593 L Sirius, MY 2008
8E0 035 593 G XM, MY 2007

Hope that helps.
