i'm installing a new cd deck in my 97 a4. i have bose amplification. deck is in and works well but when turning radio on or off or from zerro volume to 1 volume there isa loud snapping noise from all speakers. this is an amp problem i'[m thinking but short of replacing the bose amp i'm not sure how to fix it. ideas?

 

Go to Crutchfield.com, go into their forums and in the receivers section do a search for Bose. You should find some good answers there.
