Default Amp selection help?

I want to replace the 175 watt bose amp in my 2002 TT with something that is't horribly expensive, but will improve my audio quality and give me more input options.

I was looking at this Blaupunkt 4x75RMS unit.
my question is, going from the puny bose amp to this one, am I at risk of blowing my factory speakers?

Thanks!

i'm not planning on listening to music any louder than stock, I just want clearer sound and inputs...
Maybe a 4x50RMS is more suited for what i'm looking to use it for?

I'll eventually upgrade the stock speakers, but it won't be for at least a year later.
