I recently purchased a 593 E for my 2008 A4 with TPMS. Based on what I have read this appears to be the most appropriate tuner for this car and perhaps the 593 G. I completed the install per the various instructions that I have seen on the web, bought the splitter, moved the can-bus etc but the display on the symphony will blink loading for about 10 minutes then display "failure" and will only allow me to access a few preview channels. XM says it's a hardware issue and not an issue on their end. I am wondering if perhaps the 593 E is the wrong tuner for the 2008 A4. Anyone with any knowledge on the subject that can help?

I get the same message whether I use the splitter or if I connect the Audi wiring directly to the tuner; regardless of which connector on the tuner I connect to. Get the same message and then the Antennae message, which is expected without the splitter.
