bose static noise
hey everyone, so i own a 2005 audi a6 3.2 with the bose surround sound system. this is probably my 4th post about my speakers, and i apologize ahead of time lol. i guess you could say audio is very important to me in a car lol. anyways, tonight i got in my car and noticed my speakers were making a constant static noise in the front...but not back. keep in mind that the car was off! i turned the car on hopeing the sound would go away when i turned the car on, but no it didnt. i can only hear it when the sound is OFF or on MUTE. when i got home (about 10 mins later) i turned the car OFF and still noticed that sound. i tried everything and couldnt get them to turn off. i have no clue what it could be. any ideas? has this happened to anyone? also, it was extremly cold tonight, so im wondering if that had soemthing to do with it. (it was about 8F degrees) [&:]

LOUD constant Static - White noise in front speakers 2005 A6 Bose
I realize this is an old post.
This morning my 2005 Audi A6 with Bose MMI2, played LOUD static in the front static, constantly, whenever radio/CD was on. From Volume notch 1 and and up, the volume of the static did not change, but remained VERY LOUD. However, Turning volume **** up, did allow the radio/CD sound to be heard from the other speakers, including tight bass.
Did you find the cause of this? This stereo worked fantastic until this morning. It seems like its the front channels of the amplifier are damaged. This happened while parked 20 degrees F.
