My brake lights, as a cop informed me the other day, are staying on all the time. Does anyone have suggestions for trouble shooting? I don't know the names of a lot of things but I can find things on the engine to check, especially if I have a picture. I just need to try stuff at home first rather than pay large sums of money to the dealership. I have a 2001 Audi A4 quattro 1.8. It does, however, appear to have a 2002 engine.

Or are your rear fog lights on?

 

i assume u are using stock tails with bulbs correct?
