My brother is on his way here (Las Vegas, NV) from Minnesota in his 2001 A6 w/Sport package, 125k miles. He has an 'airbag' light, came on during the trip. He is (well, his wife anyway) concerned the airbags will not work in the event of an accident, or whatever, but wants to get it fixed.

My daily driver is a 2013 VW Passat TDI, and I have the Ross-Tech MicroCan cable and software, buy am unsure if it'll work on his Audi.

Any simple things to try before bringing in to an indie, or heaven forbid, the dealer? He'll be here for a few days, so would like to try any things you might be able to suggest. Thanks for any ideas,
