Default Diamond Audio...

I was just wondering what everyone thinks of Diamond Audio. A couple of local audio places have recommended their subs to me and I'm thinking about getting their D3 10" sub. If anyone has a Diamond Audio sub and you could let me know how you like I'd appreciate it.

Diamond's decent stuff. There's better, but I have a hard time suggesting it if you don't have a local dealer that will support the product and take care of you should something happen. IIRC the D3 subwoofer was in a comparison against a few other 10"s in Car Audio and Electronics a while ago, and it came out on top.

I have a local Diamond dealer and their products are great quality. Their amps are lifetime warrenty and I believe their subs are like 3 years??? I have hex components, 2 12" D6 subs, and 3 diamond amps and I have never had a problem and have been quite impressed

yeah... diamond audio is up there with quality. personally, i've heard they are really good, but then thier is other brands out there that are better. their highs are great, my friend has their competition series D9's and D6's i believe.... cost him over $2000 for both sets. although their subs are pretty pricy but they push some high rms and should hit nice. IMO if i had the money i'd go JL w6's or w7's those hit hard!!![:@]

yeah if money is an issue like most of us go for something else like A4PLAYIN said. But if you have the money for the top of the line then get them.

I was debating between 3 different subs. One of my local shops only suggested a Memphis sub. Then I, myself, was going back and forth on a JL Audio w3 or Diamond Audio D3. I eventually went with the Diamond Audio D3 just cause of all your guys' replies and the high recommendations from 2 other local shops around me. I didn't go with the Memphis sub just because a couple of dealers around me area didn't give it their thumbs up. Anyway, I'm going to be installing it in a custom box in the storage cubby of my trunk. I'll definitely let eveyone know how it sounds and post some pics after it's done. Thanks everyone for their 2 cents.
