Hi, I have an Audi A3... I was having some issues with the electrics on the LCD screen, for example, the display lights would flash for a few seconds, the gear indicator would randomly change or the alarm for leaving the lights on when exiting the car would sound even though the lights were off (all a bit like the car was possessed!).
My mechanic sent the car away to be tested and its come back as a 'panel failure'. It will need a whole new panel which has to be done by Audi at a cost of £1000.
The car is 12 years old, it has 135000 on the clock.... I bought it 2.5 years ago for 4k. Is it worth keeping?
