I have an '08 A4 cab.. In the manual, it shows where the Fog Lights can be in the "ON" position when the headlight switch is in the "parking light-ON" position.. Mine only work when the switch is set to the "headlight" position... If you turn the fogs on while in park, they try to come on but then shut off..

Any suggestions? I would imagine for Euro use the fogs can be set to on when the switch is in the parking lights (city0 on position.

Hopefully this will help, I have an 07 a4 sedan.... if you turn the switch all the way to the right and pull it out 1 or 2 clicks the fogs turn on...

 

i have this same problem with my 02. the switch indicates there on but they only work in the headlight on mode
