Default Good head unit

Ok, I tried hashing it out by myself to see what I liked but I really just get overwhelmed in tech junky mumbo jumbo on cnet.com and Crutchfield. I basically just had a couple of simple requirements and money is not a concerning factor here.

A good head unit that will install pretty easily (and use the stock amplifier/no bose system just symphony) and the following...

DVD
Great Navigation program (critical)
No folding out screens just a big built in one
Satellite radio ready
CD/AM/FM
*not crucial but perferable would be ability to wire in a cd changer, i have cds and use the changer in my stock head unit but realize if i get a dif head unit id have to sacrifice that and go to an external changer
AUX IN would be great for my MP3 player

I know its alot but i am pretty sure alot of you guys have aftermarket units in already, if you could at least guide me in the right direction that would be cool.

I say go Pioneer. There are mixxed reviews on the nav system but I have seen plenty of reviews saying that it works perfect as long as you calibrate it which many have also said they forgot to do at first. If you want to save some money go for something like this. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16882117258 its got every feature you asked for and even includes bluetooth for your cellphone. Pioneer is EXCELLENT for sound quality as well. And if your not happy w/ the nav system for some reason I am sure you could probably return it.

I wouldnt go for anything else.

Had sony, pioneer, kenwood - and the alpine i had in my astra was by far the best thing i have ever had.

Although that was a flip screen, like u said u didnt want - but i would defo recommend them as a make.

I agree that Alpine makes nice audio equipment. I used to have a Pioneer AVIC-D3 in my old A4 and I loved it.
