Hey all, have been looking to buy an A6, have been leaning towards the C5 range because of the ease of adding after market stereos and well, I think they look bad ***!
However, coming to realization that finding a 2003 A6 (4.2) with low miles is extremely rare.
So... have been looking at 2005-2006 A6's, however this brings me to why I am posting this. Looks like in this year they started integrating all the nav/stereo/computer/etc. into the middle console control center (ala BMW idrive).
What are the options for getting integrated with this? Like hooking up an iPod, line input from my phone/mp3 player or possibly bluetooth audio, backup camera, etc.?
I don't see adding an aftermarket stereo as a viable option (unless I am missing something) as it seems like it would make all those controls on the center console useless.
Can anyone chime in and give me a quick rundown on the options for dealing with this?
