Default immobilizer bypass

Hi there,
this is my first post here, please accept my appologies if it violate any forum rules.

I have a 98' Audi A4 1.9TDI (AFN engine), but last weeks i'm currently experiencing ignition problems. When i try to start the engine,it looks like loosing power or something i don't know , and the engine is getting off.Đ¢hen i have to turn off the key, and trying to start the engine again. It always stars when i try again, but after 10-15sec. the glow lamp begins to blink (indicating software problem). The VAG software says that immobilizer get low power or something like that. Friend of mine told me that there is some kind of software, which can disable/bypass the immobilizer completely. So , my question is, where can i found this software, is it possible to do this at all and should i have some kind of "strange" boxes/interfaces to do that, or maybe just ODB interface?

Thank you guys in advance, and please excuse my english :-)

I don't think that your car has an immobilizer system.

If you're talking about the chip in the key that has to send a signal to the ignition, I doubt that it has it.

My friends 99.5 A4 doesn't have one. My 01 S4 doesn't have one. I have no idea why they would have it on earlier cars, and not the later ones.

Just a thought.

Nothing I say is meant to be taken as gospel truth...
