Default Do I actually have an immobilizer key?

I went to get a new key cut and was told they couldn't because it has an immobilizer but I don't get the warning when I start the car so I don't know if I actually have one...

Are you located in the US? US B5s did not come with immobilizers.

Yep I'm in the US. So I can just get a key that matches cut? Anyone know a correct replacement model?

The switchblade have an imobilizer chip in them. But US B5's don't have the imobilizer receiver and circuitry. If you have a 96 you don't even have a switchblade with the imobilizer chip...doesn't matter. Either way you just cut a key and you're done.
