Ipod Connection problem

Ipod Connection problem
My car a 2012 A4 with MMI. Have purchased specified cables and Lightening connector for my Ipod Nano 7th geveration, but MMI indicates 'NO CONNECTION'. It is said that a new cable is pending for this Ipod. Does anyone have information and when it will become available.?

Pardon me if I answer sideways...I was wondering about connecting up music and found that the SD card slot in the 2014 is actually an SDXC slot, which means that for $60 you can put a 128GB SDXC card in the radio and just leave it there. (Oink!)
Audi doesn't seem aware that this is an SDXC slot with incredible capacity. A 64GB card is of course even cheaper, and an awful lot of music. Less "stuff" to leave in the car as well.
I never thought I'd use an "SD" slot, but SDXC...that's really nice.
