Default Just got a pair of subs: Advice please!

today i just bought 2 12" alpine type e's with a kenwood kac-7203 1000w peak power amp. I have a 2004 Audi a6 2.7t S-Line and i would like to install the subs and amp to my stock bose deck ( i think i have the premium package) My dad has an audio company that doesnt really specialize in car audio but my dad said they will be able to figure it out. Ive heard from many people that its really hard to use this stock bose deck when installing an amp and subs to it. I also am going to get an ipod adapter for my deck to off ebay or something. People have said that in order to use my stock deck with my ipod adapter and amp/subs its going to be a huge pain and im going to need to splice the wires and get some kind of rca adapters/cables. I was wondering if this is going to get too complicated for some decent audio guys to handle, or should i take my subs and amp to circuit city or best buy for a reliable but pricy installation?

Its pretty easy to install the hi/lo level converter for the amps and subs but i'm not sure about the ipod adapter. For the hi/lo level converter all you will do is splice into either of the rear speakers and there should be a diagram on the forums if you need it.

I also have a kenwood amp and I got a bass boost control **** that I can adjust the amount of bass and frequency the amp is pushing out in the drivers seat which is alot easier to use than the controls on the amp and less hassel

Use the low level outputs of the Bose Symphony head unit if you have it. You can get woofer + and - and your 5v turn on lead all in your trunk. The hardest part is running the power and ground connections for the amp, no joke.
