Mmi failure

Default Mmi failure

I have 2005 audi a6 which I booth from a auction it came with a long list of problems in addition I just added to the list I replaced the water pump and coolant pipe which went well but notice the battery kept going dead I replaced it with one I had in the garage I didn't realize that I connected the post wrong I removed it and went and purchased the correct battery after installing it I found that mmi display and radio no longer works please help

Did you get your mmi working?
Reversing the battery is not good!


Hopefully you just blew a/SOME fuses/fusible link.

check all of your fuses. Also, the fusible link is a wire that is meant to burn through when it draws too much current - maybe that blew out. Test conductivity of them using a pocket amp meter to see if they "blew". wow that is freaked out - We certainly wish you well. I just received the AUDI A8/S8/A8L 2004-2009 Bently DVD - if yours is in that range i can send a diagram or two. You might walk into a dealership and chat with a senior tech guy - I'm sure it's happened before in their or another shop shop where the guy has worked.

Where is the fusable link on an A8L 2007 for the MMI- Any ideas
