I was hoping someone may be able to help as I am at my wits end. I have recently upgraded the (A6 2005) MMI sw from 1140 to 5150, all works fine except for the handyvorb phone adapter (both the cradle in the armrest and bluetooth). It looks as though the handyvorb component had its flash erased and then the update failed to install the new flash. As a result the phone cannot be found by the MMI software. I have taken it to the dealer today, who says the *only* fix is to replace the phone kit hardware costing ££££.

Is there anyway at all that I can get the hardware recognised and then install the necessary flash/sw to it using the 5150 CD I have? The upgrade CD doesn't see the phone hardware at all currently. Any clues will be gratefully received.
