Default My headlight is possessed!!! ('06 A3 2.0T)

My headlight only works when it wants to. For the past year it has gone out for 1-2 months, come back on for 1-2 months, and now it's not working again. I've tried a new bulb. I replaced the headlight socket. I'm at a loss as to what my next step is - aside from taking it to a mechanic, which I really can't afford right now.

I've had other electrical problems, minor things like sometimes when I turn the ignition on, the sunroof opens. My keyfob didn't work for a few weeks, then all of a sudden it did. These things don't bother me, but does anyone have any suggestions about my headlight?? I need it!!

These are not HID lights, just plain old halogen H11. And the vehicle is a 2006 A3 2.0T. Thanks!

Pretty much its the headlight, the wiring, and the J519 control module. So you have to test for power coming into the headlight. Then if its not there, test for power at the module. If not there. Double and triple check fuses, because there are a few. And lastly would be to replace the j519 control module
