Alright, Hi Audi People of the world.
I have a problem I need some help with.
I own a '98 Audi Quattro A4. When I bought the thing (month back) It had no stereo installed. Empty dash. I finally got around to buying one yesterday, and installed it, I was excited to finally have music. I go to start it up and listen to see if it works, and all i hear is the music, high pitched coming from only the front left speaker. I have no idea what this could be, because i have the proper harnesses as well!
Please help ASAP! thank you

you need to connect the correct Harness, This happen to me and I had to run the harness with the RCa cables to make it work.

 

I believe your rear speakers are amplified. They may not work with an aftermarket

head unit.

 

What about if I hook up an aftermarket amp? to power subs. Could I connect those rear speakers as well? and the sound is only coming out of 1 speaker! not even the front right!

 

Alright, thanks a lot. I'm incredibly happy that it's under $30. My only question is why does it work some days and not others? On a side note, I really hope you get paid for all the useful info you know about our Audi's. I know you've personally given me advice on mine several times. Thanks.
