Default Question for the audio gurus

I searched for this issue, but the only results that came up were unapplicable for my year and model so I'm not sure what it is.

Car's a 1999.5 2.8Q with the bose package and for some reason, my driver's side speakers stopped working. I turned the balance all the way to the left to double check and no sound..nada. There's 3 speakers on the driver's door and none of them are emitting anything.

Any insights on what could be causing this?

Thanks guys

there could be many problems wrong. lets see, a few common ones, you blew them, now you need new ones. a wire could have come loose, and you would have to try to track that down, or something could be wrong with your deck. I would recommend getting a volt tester and seeing if power is getting to them, if it is your speaker is prob blown out. if not then your problem is in the wiring or your deck.

Pretty much eveyrhting he said..... but it could be simple as one of thsoe speakers grounding out on accident and its just causing that whole channel to be out.... OR it could just be one of the speakers blown and the rest go off also.... Take the door off and get a Multi-Meter and start checkin
