Save me please?
hey guys....so I’m new here..go easy on me....
ive just bought myself a 2003 v8 s4 about a month ago...got it for the bargain price of 3k...or so I thought. I bought it knowing I had 2 wheel speed sensors out and the engine management light on (hence the price) but after fixing them and it stil failing its mot on these sensors...I decided to get it looked at by a specialist company. So the fact is it wasn’t the wheel speed sensors at all but the actual abs control module that’s got a fault and needs to be repaired or replaced. The engine management problem has turned out to be a short in the secondary air pump which has had a cascade effect all the way to the lambda sensors and added emissions to the mot failure sheet.....
and finally...I’ve also been told that despite having the miltek exhaust system on it....it has ‘sports cats’ which aren’t helping with the emissions either. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get this car road legal?
thanks in advance
