Seat replacement, airbag light?

Seat replacement, airbag light?
Hi everyone
I have just replaced the standard front seats in my car with a set of Cobra Bucket seats. That is all nice and my driving position has never been so focused as now!
However, as my old seats had build in Airbags (one each), the cars computer obviously can't find them no more and the red light (airbag problems) is constantly on in my dashboard.
Therefore, there must be someone out here who has had the same problem or a Audi Tech who can help me out on the following questions:
- Can Audi reprogram the airbag system not to look for the seat airbags?
- As the connections/plugs for the seat is located in the cabin floor, is it possible to make a jumper which will clear the light without Jeopardize the function of the remaining airbags and the system as such?
Looking forward hearing from anyone out here who can help me out, thanks.
Drive safe!
