I just blew my stock speakers when i hooked up my system only 2 days after i hooked it up. I know its an older car but is there any way to get a 2 front door speakers that can handle a little bit more power??? I ahve an 98 A4 Quattro 1.8t...

 

Were you interested in another pair of stock? or some aftermarket? I would reccomend aftermarket since there are many quality speakers that can handle some rediculous amounts of power. You can either go to your local best buy (or any store like that), a car stereo store, or order them online. If you know a little bit about how the interior panels are put together and something about installing speakers (either soldering, or just attaching your old wires) then I would reccomend online since the prices tend to be better. If you are not comfortable with installing your own best buy and most car audio stores will install it for you, for an install fee.
If you want another pair of stock then your best bet is to look online, or ebay becuse it is a past model. you could also try your local junkyard or dealership.

Skip on factory speakers... they are paper and suckkk.... Just goto Best buy, circuit citry, where ever and buy a $50-150 pair of aftermarket speakers... you will be much happier.

 

There's nothing wrong with paper cones...

Now... the stock speaker paper cones? They suck gnome *****... BUT paper cones can be very VERY good.
