Does anyone have newer reviews of this interface? I hear bad and good things about it. All the videos I see show seamless navigation, but others(non video) say it crashes or looses communication. You can get the VNS media interface for $250 compared to the Dension Gateway 500 for $420. I just have a hard time paying $420 for an interface. I found a company that does just an aux. audio interface for $127 here eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices . I was able to offer him and get that price. They also have a video interface here AUDI MMI Video Multimedia Interface A6 A8 Q7 UK | eBay . I can get him to throw in a video interface(so audio aux input(just audio no interface) and video input for total of 200 euros or $320 including shipping. Would appreciate some feedback, thanks. Oh, I have 2006 Audi A6, Bluetooth, Bose, Nav. package, no rear camera but do have the backup sensors.

Just ordered the VNSmedia Center Box for Audi MMI 2G High with MPEG-2 DVB-T.
I have a 2008 S6, no RVC so must modify to control box to get FBAS.
Will give you an update as soon as i have done the installation.
PS.
The UK box you have a link to does not integrate fully into the MMI. The Video is under NAV and the Audio shows up a a CD under Media. I just returned mine as i bought it on E-bay and found this out when i got the installation instructions.
Basically it is a good and inexpensive solution but not fully integrated as i wanted it to be.
From what i see of the VNS box it shows up under Media and acts as AMI, TV and extra AUX.
Hopefully it does what it promises.

I have had one in my 07 Q7 for close to a year now. I think it's a great product. I was hesitant ordering electronics off of ebay, coming from poland. However, I think it is better than Audi's AMI since I don't have to keep my ipod in the glove box. The controls integrate seemlessly with the MMI.
