My friendssystem is a alpine deck with two alpine 12" type x and two 10" type x subs with the type r speakers and rockford amps. that system is one of the best setups that I've seen.

Speakers: MB Quart Q series, Sub: JL Audio W7. Please dont think im bragging, but its mad $$$$$ for all that stuff. It's overkill for the average car, but sounds so buttery smooth when done right.

my favorite sub is the one i currently have and it's the 12 inch power akoustics

Best speakers for me are Boston Acoustics Z series. I have them in my supra and am awaiting my set for my B5 1.8t. they sound awesome, far better than any other speakers I've heard.

best speakers..... old school Infinity Kappa Perfects. for highs/mids
And best system subs and amps was Digital Designs. SUPPER expensive but it is all hand crafted right out of Oklahome City i think. Look them up. there **** is REALLLLLL.

Best speakers: Seas Lotus Reference
Best subwoofer: Critical Mass
Best amplifier: Arc Audio SE or Genesis DM

Let's not forget about install and tuning. The "best" gear will get you nowhere without them...

subs old school precision power pro 15 it was heavy loud and it was very clean sounding sub

Subs: Resonant Engineering SE
