My front passenger side blinker works fine and blinks at a normal rate.
All lights blink correctly when I put on the emergency flashers.
The front passenger side parking light does not come on however when I turn the lights on - either just parking or headlights.

Looking at the driver's side blinker and parking light (which both work), it seems that the same bulb that blinks is also the parking light.

I have made these observations from the outside, I have not disassembled anything.

Is it the same bulb for blinking and parking?

I've just bought the car so I have no history about this.
Any suggestions appreciated...

The answer is the blinker/flasher is one bulb in one socket and the parking light is another bulb in another socket - 2 bulbs, 2 sockets.

 

ITs a dual filament bulb! if one of the filament is out the bulb could potentially still light up but the signal wont work or vise versa!
