Default Debadging question

I have started debadging my silver A6. There is still avery faint outline left behind. I do not have extensive detailing knowledge or equipment. What is the best way to get rid of it.

I saw somewhere on here about toothpaste...will that scratch?

Member 18T made a DIY post about this and said that the best way to get rid of any traces is to just keep on scrubbing with Goo-Gone until it's gone - he said it'll take about a million applications to get it all off, but it WILL come off. Keep at it!

I used bug and tar begone by Seafoam. Took the outlines out nicely.
