Default My first time trying to get a set of rims. i need help

i need some help with my first set of wheels! well a couple of days ago i posted a ad on craigslist about a 1989 honda civic sedan for sale or trade. the car was givin to me by a friend that moved away that he was working on. to me the car is only worth like $500-600. so i thought maybe someone would trade me a cheap set of rims for the car. so some guy emails me saying that he wonted to trade his LENSO RS5 rims for the car with brand new tires. so i asked him whats the lug pattern for the wheels. i told him they have to be able to fit my b5 a4

this is what he replied back

"18 X 7.5 LENSO RS5 RIMS bolt pattern RS5 is 4x100 / 4x114.3 ( 4x100 / 4x114.3 to 5x112 adapters )"

i know it says 5x112 which i believe is the pattern for the b5. but he put "4x114.3 to 5x112 adapters" does that mean im going to need adapters? or is he trying to tell me their universal and they fit up to 4x114.3 to 5x112. but why did he put adapters? i had asked him but he keeps sending the same message. sorry for the noob question! this is my first time trying to get rims so please take it easy on me.

thanks for your time and help!

He is most likely including adapters and thats what you need to ask him.
