I am purchasing a few body kit pieces for my TT. They are unpainted. I have paint experiance but with aircraft and not cars. What do you all recommend for exterior paint? Also is it pretty much a given that I will need to clear coat when I am finshed?

 

The ONLY finish to use is a basecoat colour coat (waterbased or solvent based), followed by a 2K acrylic clearcoat. Anything else just won't match the original finish. Don't forget to use a plastic primer on areas where the bare substrate has been exposed by sanding. Good luck!
