Default Rust in wings up the trunk wings under brake lights.

Hi folks,

I bought an Audi A4 2005 TDI. It has been three months. The cars runs perfect. Haven't had a single problem to this date.

But since a month ago I realised rust on the back wings of the trunk under the brake lights.

I tried to such for a solution since then, we are in winter I can't do things on myself at home and I'm not capable of paying the price I was asked. I gotta wait till the winter is over. But the rust is building very fast.

I got to read about the 12 year Audi warranty. Since my car is 10 years 9 month old. Will my car fit under the warranty? Are the rules set different in countries? Any advice will be well appreciated. Thank you

Yes they offer 12 year corrosion warranty. Try going to your dealer though I'm pretty sure that there will be many loopholes, making it a bit difficult to get warrantied.

Thank you for the reply. Yeah for sure there was a loophole. They said the corrosion must be from inside not outside. I called Germany and they confirmed it was the right response from The Stealer.
