Default side markers, suggestions

I have a black 1998 a4. It currently has the amber side markers and I want to change them out. I do NOT want to smoke my headlights or taillights. But on the sidemarkers I am kind of torn. I can not deside if I should put in smoked side markers or clear ones. ebay item - smoked side markers there is a pair of smoked markers I am looking at. What do you guys think. Would a slight blending into the car look good, or ricy? Do you think it is better to have pronounced clear side markers? Any input would be awsome since there arent many car photos with smoked side markers. Thx

I prefer the look of just the clear sidemarkers not the smoked ones. But on a dark colored car as yours it should look ok. It's all personal preference.

go big. M3 style mirrors with sidemarkers and shave off your current sidemarkers

smoked out look is great it gives it a stealth aperience i mean i don't have a dark car and i went smoked and it lookes decent right now but i am not done yet. I put projectors in and what a difference it makes the car look its like a whole new car. not to mention how much more i can see and i deliever pizza so its important to see where the heck i am goin at nite
