Is a Windscreen Repair possible?
I was changing out the Wiper's on my A4 B5 98.5, and with the Wiper removed the Wiper arm slipped through my gloves and smashed against the windscreen (Metal on Glass), cracking it into a 5 point star...... Originally it wasn't that bad, but I did mark the end of the two upper cracks as I was sure they would propogate upwards....
Given the Temperature differentials we've had here recently they have already started...... So I am wondering is their any method of stopping these propogating further to the entent where I would need another Windscreen......
The longest crack is around 75mm (3") and luckily it was on the passengers side, but I don't want to fork out for a new one.....
So what repairs are possible. Resin's etc?
