A4 Would not start

A4 Would not start
Hi I am new to this so please go easy on me.
The car A4 1.8 T AEB 1998(non Quattro)
I had the head reworked on with new valve stem seal and lifters replaced.
All markings match TDC.
Motor turns but refuses to start.
I did the TBA via VAGCOM and all seems fine.
There is plenty of spark and fuel but not sure of the timing. The cam sensor was clean.
Also the ECU was disconnected along with the battery for a few months.
Any recommendations please
