Well, repetitive newbie questions are a fact of forum life. Every forum goes through it. If you dont answer them and try to help, though, the reputation of the forum will go down.
There are FAQ's in all the forums. Plus, its a HUGE PITA when the same crap is on the first page. People that dont do any research for themselves dont deserve to be spoon fed every last bit of info.
