Default Same problem in 2004 TT

I have the same problem in a 2004 TT. The dealer service depts. in NJ are clueless. They run up the bill and don't fix the problems. You call Audi and they suggest that you return to the Dealer to have the problem resolved. Why would you set yorself up to get foole twice.

Same issue. 2003 TT. This is inconvenient and would be nice to have it fully functioning.

My 2001 A6 display is almost completely unreadable.

Apparently there is a place down south that will take yours and fix it and send it back.
I think it costs about $135 postpaid.

But you still have to pay your mechanic to take it out/reinstall it.

I agree Audi should cover this, since it is a known issue.

Count me in. 2001 Audi a6 Quattro. LCD shows ok when car is completely cold and is cold outside... but as soon as it warms up, or when it is hot outside it disappears completely.

Same problem with our 2001 A4 2.8L V6 Quattro. All the screens at the center of the dash are unreadable and the top 1/3 screen is gone completely. Keep me posted.

My 2001 A6 Quattro 4.2 had the problem, I sent it to be repaired. I put it in and now the car is immobilized! Wtf?
