'03 Antenna Reception Problem
2003 Audi Allroad, Manual 2.7T
Just recently upgraded the stock radio (No GPS or SatRadio) to a Pioneer Avic-X930BT. I hated the radio controlled stock mast antenna and replaced it with a stock '04 Allroad Shark fin
Hollowed out the shark fin to hide the Sirius antenna and ran a new antenna wire from the shark fin to the back of the Radio. FM and AM non existent. SatRadio works fine
What I would like to do, is find a solution that get my FM and AM back, but does not include the radio controlled toy antenna. Something is up, and we can't figure out what.
Would appreciate some advice here

Allroad Antenna
What I ended up doing is testing a few different antennas plus the OEM. Had to go back to the OEM antenna but the reception is still very poor. We ran a new wire from the mast to the radio unit. For AM, the wires and antennas are in the rear windows.
