I've had several problems with this car but today I was driving up a hill with my foot on the gas pedal and the car slipped out of gear; it was like all the sudden I was in neutral and the engine kept revving. I eventually pulled over to a stop; then the ESP light came on. I don't think the situation and the light have anything to do with one another because after messing with the gears (this is an automatic) I was able to coax the car into gear....but several times since then, while driving all of the sudden it will just slip out of DRIVE and I have to pull over and coax it back into drive. I'm at my wits end; all the other problems with the car have been exacerbated by the fact that I think the dealership is really screwing me over with regards to repairs so ANY ADVICE or HELP would be greatly appreciated.

you got powertrain warranty... i don't know of your other problems w/ your car.

but take it in to the dealer. let them deal w/ it.
