07 A4 Howl/Vibration when making left turn & loss of power
I have a 2007 A4 Quattro 2.0T Automatic. It has 11K miles and I just picked it up used at a local used car dealer on Oct 24. I have put 900 miles on the car in the last 10 days and have the following problem which seems to be worsening.
When making a left turn or turning the wheel to the left I get a howling noise (that gets louder the faster you go and further you turn the wheel). This is the second A4 I've had so I'm familiar with how they drive and this is totally screwed up. There is also a slight, but constant vibration felt in the floor board at normal speed driving straight.
To further confuse the problem I have had the car almost come to a stop when accelerating on 3 different occassions (usually at low speeds when pulling into a street or out of a driveway) it feels like the transmission or drive disengages and then a clunk and it kicks in and the car moves forward again.
I am not very confident in bringing it back to the dealer I purchased it from to fix this. Would this be within my Audi warranty? I'm trying to make the problem recur but it's random except for the left turn howling.
(All the tires have normal wear and the wheels were all balanced a couple weeks ago)

everything but tires and brakes falls under your new car warranty....
the sales department and service department for your dealer are two very different things. i'd try the service before i condemn the dealer
