Just bought 09 A3 2.0 quattro triptronic. Optioned for heated seats. Tried them first time and could barely tell they were on. Asked dealer about it and he said 09 has software level 100 and new temp settings for seat levels. Max temp is only 39deg C or about 102 deg F, pre-software level 100 max temp was 64 deg c, or about 150 deg F.

Current setting of 6 is nearly equal to previous setting 4. I'm in the Northeast and could really use the old level 6 temp. Any ideas on how to get it?

 

Sorry but the modules won't let you change/update software unless it's a newer version...
