1.8t "rattle" question. does not sound good!
Hi all, im a total noob to both Audi's and this forum. I just bought a 2000 1.8t that had an extremely noisy fan beiring, so noisy that you could hardly hear the engine run, anyway i changed it today and of course the whine was gone but it only made it possible to hear yet another noise this time a rattle from the back end of the engine. Im not sure if its g/box or something happening under the rocker but it dont sound to good. Im hoping someone else has experienced similar or same. The rattle seems to get worse as the engine gets hotter and goes up and down with the revs, please help!!
