1988 Audi 90 clutch/power steering question
Hello,
I'm looking to purchase a 1988 Audi 90 5cyl 5sp quattro. It has developed a problem with the clutch hydraulics and power steering. I'm under the assumption they work off the same system? Is this true? Anyone have a breakdown or pics of the system? What type of fluid in these systems? Is it mineral oil?
It also has a winey throwout bearing so the clutch will soon need replacing. Whats the average time for an experienced mechanic to replace?
Also it's gonna need new cv boots all the way around. Is it easier and cost effective to replace the whole shafts?
Thanks,
Fred
